MAGIC BEHIND BARS
(A Brief History)
In 1975, and at the suggestion of my friend Bill Baird, I started to write my first lecture notes, Magic Behind Bars.
I released those notes in June of 1976. I came up with my first magic idea in 1968, which was my Pivot Double Lift.
However, most of my ideas I came up with in the early to middle 1970's.
Most of the ideas in the first edition were also in the original 1976 edition.
However, over the years I have added several new applications, ideas, and routines.
For example; In 1993, I added my Fechter's Finger Flicking Flustration Count to my notes.
It is my variation of the Brother John Hamman Flustration Count
or what is now known as Norman Houghton's Back Count (Ibidem #1 - 1955).
